Life has been racing by and we haven't posted in so long! Looking at these photos from Halloween reminds me of that hopeful time when thought the election was going in a very different direction. Sigh. But, I digress. We celebrated our first Halloween in Olympia, where unbeknownst to us when we moved in, our neighborhood LOVES Halloween and totally outdoes itself every year with decorations. We got so many trick or treaters and had a great time trick or treating, despite the pouring rain. Thanks to the awesome sewing skills of T-Ma and Morgan's persistence and vision when it came to Melina's crown - we pulled off a Lord of the Rings family costume - yay! We had fun exploring new nature trails, and we got to see some spawning chum salmon up close - so cool. We loved showing Auntie Claire, Uncle Tony, cousins Will, Kate, and Ty and T-Ma and Mark our new town over Thanksgiving and then got to spend Christmas visiting with Papa, Bubbie and Auntie Hallie and catching up with friends in Yellow Springs.
