Happy Mothers Day!

To all the mamas out there, happy happy mothers day.  I couldn't feel more grateful to be mama to this sweet baby. Melina, you amaze us every day. 

She is even cute (especially cute??) when she is getting into something we'd rather she didn't, which is happening more and more these days. 

The redirect - while the toy basket isn't *nearly* as fun as the desk drawers, it will do for a while.

We headed South to Oregon in a whirlwind combination of work, family and friends.  It was delightful to be back with Aunt Barb and co at Bois Jolie, Melina is such a different baby from the little one I took there last August. She took her first steps in Aunt Barb's living room!

Chickens at Chad and Claire's! We weren't quite ready to hold the feed but maybe next time. 

We are pretty sure that her first word is/will be "water."  She says "waa-errrr".

Chilling like old times. It was wonderful to see you guys. 

We took a work-y side trip to Newport, did some expert baby-trading off for various meetings and enjoyed a (rare?) sunny day on the coast.
