This is Tish - both me and Melina were sad to see Morgan leave for his 6 week adventure in Alaska - we miss you already!
Before he left we took Melina on her first hike - to Discovery Park!
This was more or less a success - we even had our first al fresco breastfeeding.
Melina wasn't too sure about it.
It's been amazing to see her become more alert observant over the last couple of weeks - she has the best expressions and follows us now with her eyes.
Since the weather has been beautiful, we also made it out to Golden Gardens - I gave Melina her first Phycology lesson.
I am recovering really well from my C-section! Hooray for that. I can't wait to start mom and baby yoga this week.
I have also discovered the amazingness of this sling!! Thank you Christy and Cynthia! This sling is perfect for doing two-handed things (like posting photos on this blog) around the house - Melina just loves it.
A huge milestone - she now fits into cloth diapers!!! This is SO exciting. She still hates getting changed though. She misses Morgan who is the diaper/wiper extraordinaire.

morgan must be so sad 6 whole weeks away...it really does get easier tish...so easy that you think having a second one is a good idea...head lifting will come...don't be too hard on melina
