To celebrate Tish's birthday (and a slight reprieve from morning sickness!), we headed to the mountains in search of a Christmas tree. It was 50 degrees in Seattle but we found snow in the mountains and were able to get much higher than in past years, which meant a better selection of trees! We taught Melina how to help us look for the firs and avoid the hemlocks. She was a trooper in the backpack and only asked to go back to the car every 10 minutes or so. :-)
